Membership
The Electrologists’ Association of California (EAC) is a non-profit organization consisting of two chapters, Northern and Southern. EAC is also an Affiliate of the American Electrology Association (AEA) the largest national organization for electrologists.
EAC takes pride in our educational programs provided at our chapter meetings. Each chapter offers, three meetings a year and a semi-annual State Symposium seminar. Attending the seminars will provide continuing educational units from speakers such as physicians and other experienced professionals.
EAC sends a representative to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology meetings. The purpose of the representative is to keep us updated on current information and changes to state legislation affecting our profession.
A new addition to your association benefits is a "mentoring program" whereas EAC will assist in locating an Electrologist in your area that you can feel free to ask professional questions regarding the Electrology profession or your personal practice. Their personal experience and knowledge can be of invaluable support to you.
Our membership recognizes the fact our profession is ever changing in regards to sterilization, sanitation, equipment, public welfare, and safety. We are dedicated to keep our members informed through three yearly EAC newsletters, meetings, an EAC website, and special mailings.
