Code of Ethics
The Electrologists Association of California, Inc. (EAC) is in its sixtieth year (incorporated in June 1948) of providing information, support and education to the electrologists of California. It was formed by a few electrologists who wanted a say in how their profession was regulated in California, and to have a place to discuss subjects related to their practices. The association remains a volunteer member-run organization. EAC provides members with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of all aspects of their profession as well as offering the strength of an association.
The Electrologists Association of California is dedicated to providing its members with the latest information and education so they can compete in a fair market with the highest level of knowledge and confidence. The EAC offers seminars, newsletters and meetings to ensure continued education in the field of electrolysis. The work that the association does to promote standards in education, sterilization and continued training for the protection of the public health, safety and welfare is invaluable to the field of electrolysis and all electrologists.
To create a spirit of cooperation among those engaged in the business of superfluous hair removal, and to promote fair, open and friendly competition.
To encourage constructive methods and to discourage at all times work of inferior nature which would be a reflection on the profession as a whole.
To aid in creating in the minds of the lay public a feeling of confidence in the quality and value of services rendered by members of this organization.
Through concerted effort and action to educate the lay public, and whenever possible to help each other within the organization to improve the standard of our service.
To radiate a spirit of cooperation and understanding among all members of our profession, and in all of our professional contacts.
